Managers of FC Spartak Moscow and Sport Club Internacional have reached an agreement today on the transfer of the 26-year-old attaching half-back Alex.
Within
the next few days, Alex will undergo a medical examination in
Germany.
If he passes it, the deal will be sealed and the player will sign a personal
contract with Spartak.
Alex
Raphael Meschini (175 cm) is considered one of the best attacking half-backs in
Brazil.
He began his professional career in Guarani in 2003 and has played for Inter
Porto Alegre since 2004, achieving a lot of successes. Alex is a three-time
winner of the state of Gaushu and has won the Cup of Libertadores, the South
American Cup and the Recopa Cup. In 2006, Inter became the world club champion
after defeating Barcelona of Spain in the final game by the score of 1 to 0. In
Inter, the half-back, who is known for his excellent dribbling technique and
brilliant left-foot shots, has played in 158 games and scored a total of 53
goals.
Alex
has played twice for the Brazilian national team: on October 12 of the past
year, he substituted Kaka in the 70th minute of the World Cup 2010 qualification
match against Venezuela
(4-0), and on 19
November 2008
he substituted Robinho in a friendly game against the Portuguese national team
(6-2).
